DEAR OBAMA,
12/17/08
Hey what’s up? How are you…? Hope your swell. I’m doin o.k.mean other than all those civil rights that are on the table that affect mineand so many other people’s lives in this exciting time of Hope. Belief. And Change.
I was watching your press conference this morning, and it was so cool, how you want to have this round table, open-minded view of Government. HOW AWESOME! The diversity of your new cabinet, -- it’s so cool,Women, Men, Black, White, Latino, Gays, and straights together…and aren’t you so excited about the inauguration coming up?
SO, Everyone is all a titter about RICK WARREN speaking on your big day! And today – you defended him and yourself, -- You said you have always been pro gay rights, and your record shows on that – I mean other than being against gay marriage, I can totally see how your pro gayness. Even though Rick Warren is an evangelical and thinks Gay and Lesbians will burn in hell and don’t deserve any rights and our love and lifestyles are immoral and inhuman. That’s cool. That’s cool that you think that “All opinions, even though different should be considered” I was just wondering if you were gonn have anyone from the KKK speak at your inauguration? Or perhaps a coupla Nazis? No? yes? I can only assume that you are.
In your press conference this morning, you also said that you were having contradictory speaker to ol Gay Hating Rick, to give an opposite view. You want all people to have their opinions and we can disagree and that’s ok. I think that’s great, and for whatever reason my rights as a human being are up for public opinion because of sexuality, is ok with you, seems well -- totally in line with your ideology. Pro Gay rights, but if your against gay rights, that’s cool too. That way you don’t really ever have to take a stand on anything.
Change. HOPE. Belief. Right. You know what? I gotta tell yousomething. CALL ME crazy – call me one sided. But sometimes NOT every opinion is ok, and sometimes people are wrong. And no, they don’t deserve a seat at the table. You want to placate THE Evangelicals, and the right wings and the conservatives when it comes to the gays? But not race? Why not? Let’s get the racists in there, and let them have their say? Its just an opinion right? Some people want slavery back. Some people believe minorities are on a lower scale of human evolution than White people…that’s just an opinion right? SO let's have them speak on your big day. Screw it, Get Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in there, he doesn’t believe gays even exist, and that certain religions should be blown off the face of the earth, and that certain races should be exterminated – They’re just opinions. Right?
What you think you’re doing, in opening up the table toeveryone, just enable more and more homophobia, and the idea that Gays lives are up for vote. At least take responsibility for it. You’re not pro gay. You’re just not against gays but feel it’s ok if you are. There’s a difference. SO thanks. Thanks so much for the change and the belief..It feels so good to be scape-goated in the new administration once again. I guess some things will never change. Sincerely,
Julie "It's cool to hate me, and pass laws against me, unless it's about race then it's not ok, but if it's about gays, it's just your opinion" Goldman

I must to add to my last letter, I am so angry I am goin to implode, explode, and set the world on fire,..as really there's nothing else I can do but express myself - with no HOPE of any actual action or return. The sad truth is being revealed to me, that all the notes, and all the protests, and all the rageful - railing - ranting - is basically like having a one night stand and realize your-- throwing a hot dog in a hallway.
As we have all been expressing ourselves-- our OPINIONS -- from pundits to everyday peeps here on old facebook, I am getting invites to protests and letter writing campaigns, and it becomes clearer and clearer that - Rick Warren is doing the blessing. Period. Frankly - MY OPINION -- that there's any blessing at all is offensive enough, but that it's by him, well we've already been there. A Man who believes an entire group of people are not EQUAL to other human beings, is BLESSING the president -- is so repulsive and disgusting, I can't bare it. TOpping that off, why why why is God even a part of an inauguration.? Separation between church and state? YEs? No? Maybe? Not so much?
I have been told to relax, to accept the changes that the GLBT community is enjoying...One day at a time - small steps - that bloggers and news casters, politicians, lawyers and the like are all debating and having a good time tossing their opinions around about our lives. OUR LIVES.
We are real people, with real lives. WHY do you - and by you I mean anybody get an OPINION or a VOTE on how I live my life when it comes to love? WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY..? Murder, rape, incest, and DISCRIMINATION are against the law. They are collective agreements that society has made that are all wrong and there are no more votes, there are no more debates. They are wrong why? Because they hurt people. Hurting people is wrong EXCEPT..when it comes to gays...and women of course...but mainly gays. How I am hurting anyone - is beyond me and no GOD or OPINION will EVER make that ok.
There is no opinion on race, or religious discrimination. It is illegal and seen as absolutely abhorent. WHY is this any different? WHat Obama has done by choosing Rick Warren is a an act of discrimination. IT is his underhanded way of saying F YOU Gays. TOo bad for you. Guess what - Separate but equal. Your civil Rights are up for opinion. Obama is saying - he doesn't wants us dead, he doesn't want is to suffer, he just wants us to know -- we aren't equal. We are less than. We are up for auction. We can live here and pay taxes and be American, JUST you know -- keep it low.
The American public has a collective agreement that GAy and Lesbian LIves are up for a vote and for an opinion. That my anger and rage is some sort of attitude or whiney impulsive reaction to things that I don't understand...
Really? Soo again I ask - where is the KKK? Where are the Nazis? Where are the Muslim Fundamnetalists? Why aren't they seated at the "table" Obama?
Let's be honest. No one gives a shit, because it's about gay people, and the truth is - We are ALWAYS thrown to the side as - whiney, complaining, group of people, who need to wait for our day to come.. Can't we see change for what it is and appreciate how far we've come and everyone deserves their opinion, and that has to be ok. You can't accept people to accept you, thats just how it is.....
Well, I want to say to all that -- F. THAT SHIT. Perhaps Rick Warren isn't going to spew his agenda on all of us, and we ALL knew Obama was never for gay Marriage and let's also be honest - BArely one politician is.
SO - I guess - I just needed to express the utter disappointment, and rage and sadness and hopelessness I feel - when I should be feeling the sea of change, and hope, and believe that the tide is turning.
Shame on You Barack Obama. It is so un popular for me to say this. But youre not even President, and I am so deeply regretful that I voted for you. I feel personally bitch slapped, and I don't care that you're not McCain, or Sarah Palin, at least they were honest with their biggotry..I should've gone with my instinct and written in Stewie Griffin.
And that's just my opinion.

JOHN LEWIS CHANGES HIS MIND AS A LADY IS APT TO DO.
Congressman John Lewis, A leader in the Civil rights Movement announced today that he is changing his mind, from publicly supporting Senator Hillary Clinton, and is going to support Senator President Barack Obama.
Big Surprise. Hills is the Titanic and everyone’s jumping ship. In Politics ain’t no band of violinist who are goin to drown in the icy cold waters of Washington DC, and the Captain and The Ship are one in the same.
From Politico.Com –
“Lewis, who announced his decision in a statement, alluded to the weight of history and pointed to his district’s overwhelming support for Obama in the state’s Feb. 5 primary. “When I speak to students about the Civil Rights Movement, I say that it is impossible to stop a determined movement that is captivating the American consciousness,” Lewis said. “I think the candidacy of Sen. Obama represents the beginning of a new movement in American political history that began in the hearts and minds of the people of this nation. And I want to be on the side of the people, on the side of the spirit of history.”
………and I would love to be Secretary of State.
I’m sure The Congressman isn’t expecting a job in The Obama administration, as let’s be honest, now the political vultures are all running around with the new front runner and soon to be President, and their hungry for what their new job titles will be. I’d put money on the fact that we will be seeing Mr. Lewis as I don’t know Secretary of something perhaps?
They all do it, it’s nothing new, This one supports that one, that one supports this one, as they hope to back the winner, and hope to get a job in the new administration. I wonder what Tom Daschel will be? VP? Secretary of My Butt? Chris Dodd, Secretary of Secretaries?
The Clinton supporters are doing it too – so don’t even. The support, the last ditch hopes that their ship will make it into harbor, and they kinda like their jobs so their cool, but some know they better make good on their promise or The Hills and The Bills is gonna forget to block and leak that story of that whore they fucked in Vegas or their extra marital boyfriend. Perhaps?
Let’s watch and see the defections and the public messages of support --- in support of history and the will of the people, and then let’s make a list of all their new cool awesome historic jobs.

Nader said Sunday he will mount another presidential run.
WASHINGTON (CNN) — Ralph Nader announced Sunday he is entering the presidential race as an Independent.
In an interview with NBC's "Meet the Press," the consumer advocate
said great changes in U.S. history have come "through little parties
that never won any national election."
"Dissent is the mother of ascent," he said. "And in that context I've decided to run for president."
Nader, who turns 74 this week, complained of the "paralysis of the
government," which he said is under the control of corporate executives
and lobbyists.
It marks his fourth straight White House bid — fifth if his 1992 write-in campaign is included.
Nader's entry into the race did not come as a surprise to political watchers.
On Sunday, Sen. Barack Obama criticized him. "My sense is that Mr.
Nader is somebody who, if you don't listen and adopt all of his
policies, thinks you're not substantive," Obama told reporters when
asked about Nader's possible candidacy.
"He seems to have a pretty high opinion of his own work."
Obama added that Nader "is a singular figure in American politics
and has done as much as just about anyone for consumers." And Obama
said, "I don't mean to diminish that." But he added, "There's a sense
now that if someone's
not hewing to the Ralph Nader agenda, he says they're lacking in some way."
Responding to those remarks during his "Meet the Press" interview,
Nader encouraged people to look at his campaign Web site,
votenader.org, which he said discusses issues important to Americans
that Obama and Sen. John McCain "are not addressing."
Interesting. Interesting. Let me just throw something out there.
